No matter how experienced a diver they may be - there is something for everyone!Thailand Diving is a great experience

Thailand is located right in the heart of South East Asia and is a major airport and transportation hub in the region. Made up of the mountains in the North and the beaches and islands in the South - don't just come for the diving.Did you know - that even though English is not their official language most of the people and vendors as well as resorts and guesthousess are capable of conversing in the English language. Bankok - the capital - approximately 9 million people live. It is the center of the country - for commercial, cultural, political, and industrial activities..

The residents residents of Thailand are well known for being very hospitable and friendly. It is divided into 4 natural regions that are the: Mountainous North, High Northeast Plateau, Central Plain, and the Peninsula South. It is one of the few places left in 60 years!!! This makes him the longest reigning Thai Monarch. He is also the longest currently reigning monarch in the world!

You can do so many things while visiting Thailand. There are mountains to explore, museums to explore, palaces to visit, elephants trips to partake, and on and on...

It is important to know exactly where your diving tours are located so that you will also be able to know how you will have to get there. Some dive spots are located close enough to take a day trip to get to them where some are more remote and you make have to book a short flight to arrive for your dive experience.

When visiting the islands of Thailand you will have the opportunity to experience white sandy beaches, unique color coral and many different species of fish. There are locations that are specifically for diving or some are best for snorkeling. It is important to take the time of year into consideration when planning your trip as it is best to dive at different locations depending on the season. The best places to dive in the months of October-April is the Andaman Sea - the waters average from 27-30 degrees and maintains a very clear visibility for diving.

One place that is known for being rated as one of the top ten diving sites in the world is the Similan Islands located about 50 west of Khao Lak. As of 1982 the islands have become a national park. Even the Similans enjoy diving in this area and have some favorite sites such as: East of Eden, Beacon Reef, Christmas Point, and Elephant Head. When diving in the Similans you will have the chance to see many species of small fish, manta rays, and some leopard sharks all while exploring these dive sites.

Thailand offers adventure for divers as well as fish watching. The Thailand dive sites also offer wreck exploring sites to those interested. They have wreck diving sites that offer wrecks involving boats ranging from innocent ferries to war ships. Some of these ships are known for being part of history.

Some of the unforgettable things you will have the opportunity to see while on the dives are: moray eels, manta rays, leopard sharks, and even some sea snakes. One thing that is very important to know when considering during any particular dive is that it will require a diver to possess a marginal amount of experience at least to be able to participate.

When considering booking a diving trip to Thailand you need to know that you don’t have to be an experienced diver to go. When you contact a travel agent to book your trip to Thailand you can ask them about booking a scuba school for you and your family and get some information on where the best scuba locations are.

You can even go online and check out a couple different scuba schools to attend while there and book a class for when you arrive. There are many diving schools available to teach you how to scuba dive throughout the seasons. You can even book a specific dive before your class so that by the time you finish the class you don’t miss out on a special dive trip or a Liveaboard.

Some classes even offer not only classes but some offer dive trips as well. An important thing to know when finding a class is whether you will need to have you own equipment or if they supply all of what you will need. Some schools will lend or rent you equipment for the class and some even sell equipment for you to use after the class.
